The selected professional will be responsible for:
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining MySQL database servers
• Monitoring database performance and implementing changes for improvement
• Performing regular backups and recovery operations
• Optimizing database performance through query optimization and indexing
• Ensuring database security, integrity, and high availability
• Managing database replication and clustering setups
• Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
• Planning for capacity and database growth
Key requirements include:
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in MySQL DBA roles
• Strong knowledge of MySQL versions 8.0+
• Experience with MySQL replication (master-slave, master-master)
• Proficient in performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies
• Familiarity with MySQL monitoring tools
• Understanding of database security best practices
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
