About AME
Asset Management Engineers (AME) is a leading provider of inspection, testing and training services to the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. AME assist our clients in meeting regulatory requirements for their plant and equipment.
About the Role
Due to continued growth and demand for our services, AME are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Level 2 NDT Technicians that are keen to advance their careers in the field of plant inspection. This is a residential based position and candidates must reside in Kalgoorlie. Relocation packages on offer for the right candidates.
Accountabilities
Perform Inspections, Testing and Audits on mobile and fixed plant.
Produce high quality detailed reports related to Inspections, Testing and Audits.
Use specialist inspection and test equipment in the performance of inspections, NDT and plant auditing.
Provide technical support and advice related to plant compliance and integrity.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must possess the following skills and attributes:
Minimum Level 2 PCN NDT (UT, MT)
> 3 years NDT Technical experience
An effective communicator, both in written and verbal communications.
High attention to detail and strong report writing skills.
Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
Current driving licence.
Preferred Criteria
Experience working within the mining sector.
Level 2 PCN (EC)
Understanding of all applicable Australian Standards, the Work Health Safety Act 2020, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 and Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022.
