Who you are
You have a worked as a healthcare leader for a minimum of 7 years. You have experience in healthcare administration, mentoring, leading, facilitating, team building, negotiation, decision-making and conflict resoultion.
You hold a master's degree in health or buisness administration linked to a clinical profession.
Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.
What you will do
The Clinical Director will lead and facilitate the delivery of quality care in close collabration with the applicable Horizon Clinical Networks/Programs.
Leadership and Management:
Provide visionary leadership.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous performance improvement to delivery safe, quality patient care.
Ensure departments are fiscally responsible.
Oversee the daily operations
Strategic Planning and Continuous Performance Improvement:
Collaborate with the Clinical Executive Director, Program Medical Director and Regional Leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, goals, and initiatives that are aligned with Horizon’s mission, vision, and values, as well as the Province of New Brunswick’s Health Care Plan.
Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and efficiency of services through established key performance indicators, project specific metrics, audits, and feedback from the teams.
Patient Safety and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements, maintaining documentation and records as needed.
Implement and maintain regional protocols, policies, and quality assurance initiatives to uphold patient safety and enhance outcomes.
Monitor incident reporting, address incidents as they arise, and implement recommendations from quality process reviews in the specified timeframe.
Staff Development:
Collaborate in the recruitment of staff with talent acquisition.
Foster an environment of professional growth and educational advancement.
Address the resolution of practice, behavioral, and attendance issues in collaboration with department managers, professional practice, and human resources as appropriate.
Budget Management:
Ensure all departments are adhering to defined budgets.
Monitor monthly variances and expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and utilization of equipment and technology to ensure the highest level of care.
