Job Description
Centre of Excellence
• Understanding and communicating the best practice contained within the HMG Teal Book, to ensure the Agency meets required standards.
• Liaising with Infrastructure Project Authority (IPA), DSIT PMO, and DSIT Departmental Assurance Coordinator to ensure that UK Space Agencys standards and tools for delivery are appropriate.
• Where necessary, adapting IPA and DSIT tools, templates and processes for appropriate UK Space Agency use.
• Leading, and facilitating, learning-from-experience practices and the development of recommendations and action plans for continuous improvement of skills, templates, tools and processes as a result.
• Development, dissemination, and provision, of guidance to delivery practitioners.
• Assisting the Agencys Head of Project Delivery Profession with administrative support in carrying out their role.
• Coordinating internal and external networking and community-of-practice initiatives for the UK Space Agency delivery community, including identification and coordination of external speakers.
• Networking with external organisations such as APM to learn and share best practice.
• Facilitating coaching and peer to peer knowledge sharing.
• Advising delivery professionals on carrier development opportunities, development planning, use of the PDCF and GOST tools.
• Planning continuous development of Verto and other information management (for P3M) capabilities within delivery teams.
• Planning and conducting delivery-specific induction of new joiners taking on delivery roles within the Agency.

The Role Holder Will Be Required

UK Space Agency is currently going through IPAs Government Project Delivery Accreditation. The successful candidate will be expected to go through the accreditation process after joining UKSA, if theyre not currently already going through the process.
