Description
We are looking for a Network Administrator who can help us maintain a reliable,
secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate should be able to deploy,
configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network
operation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Requirements :
• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade our company's data communications network and
our in-house servers (running Windows Server 2024). Some of the common tasks may include but
won't be limited to:
1> Creating and maintaining VMs using Hyper-V.
2> Installing, configuring and maintaining DC and ADC server.
3> Installing and configuring Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and also configuring AD Group
Policies.
4> Installing Windows Server 2024 along with Guest VM provisioning and optimization with
latest patches and fixes.
5> Configuring VMs for various servers such as File Server, End Point with Server Protection
Management Server, Data Protection with Replication/Failover Management Server, Application
Server and Database server.
6> Configuring VPN for users to connect to the network from outside (token based
authentication).
7> Configuring and maintaining Firewall to Firewall VPN connectivity between two facilities
as a backup option in case of P2P downtime.
8> Installing and configuring End Point with Server Protection Management Server.
9> Installing and configuring Data Protection with Replication/Failover Management Server;
also, ensuring data protection at client side (snapshot of OS might be required in certain cases).
10> Installing, configuring and maintaining IP Cameras and NVR.
• Assist in network design and implementation.
• Install and configure computer network equipment (both active and passive).
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
• Keep an eye out for needed updates.
• Support and administer thirdparty applications.
• Ensure network security and connectivity.
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test
for weaknesses.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Resolve issues reported by end users.
• Define network policies and procedures.
• Specify system requirements and design solutions.
• Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup.
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
• Write, implement and maintain automation scripts (using PowerShell, VBS et al) for better network
management and configuration.
• Research and make recommendations on server system administration.
• Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.
Candidate must have:
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and fundamentals of server administration.
• Core experience in Windows Server Administration (preferably Windows Server 2024), Active
Directory management, UTM management and VPN setup and management.
• Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills.
• Handson technical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problemsolving ability.
• Proficiency with scripting languages.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
6+ years experience in a Network Administration role
4+ years experience in Windows Server Administration
Previous experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2024 and Hyper-V preferred
At least CCNA and MCSE certified
