Title: Network Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 18-24-month contract
Compensation: 40-45/hr
Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in Network Engineering roles
• Experience with or knowledge of telecom networks (IP networks such as Cisco, Juniper, Metro Ethernet)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper equipment at a Layer 3 level
• BGP, OSPF, VRF design experience
• MOP creation and execution experience
• Collaborative, self-starter personality

• Management network experience
Day-to-Day: Insight Global is seeking four remote Network Engineers for one of our telecommunications clients. This resource will be supporting a large migration project of 146 network points from one environment to another. On a day-to-day basis, this resource will assist with site due diligence (especially with ISONET sites), work hand-in-hand with planning and engineering teams to install new Cisco equipment for migration in 20-30 sites, utilize the lab for testing if necessary, and work on MOP creation and execution. This resource should have experience or working knowledge of telecom networks and hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper equipment at a Layer 3 level. They must also possess BGP and OSPF design experience and have a collaborative, self-starter personality ideal for remote work. This resource can sit fully remote but will be working EST hours and must be prepared to work on a migration schedule starting at midnight during release dates.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
