Roles & Responsibilities
i) Month-end accounting close activities including preparation of revenue and deferred revenue journal entries for the Company s subscription revenue.
ii) Perform monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts for deferred revenue and other assigned accounts.
iii) Review customer contracts to make sure revenue is recognized in accordance with the IFRS
iv) Analyze data trends while preparing monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis for revenue and deferred revenue accounts.
v) Effectively used the netsuite and other add ons application for billing purposes.
vi) Identify and execute various automation and integration projects.
vii) Participate in the completion of internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and support calculations.
viii) Assisting the accounting department with the preparation of financial reports
ix) Should have an eye to the detail to question the current processes and work towards automating processes and bringing efficiencies.
SOFT SKILLS:
Well-organized with superior attention to details.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and adapt to change.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Professional, responsible, and reliable self-starter.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Strong Knowledge of Revenue and Receivable Accounting.
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of International Financial reporting Standards ( IFRS) and US GAAP is Desirable.
Knowledge of Netsuite is strongly desirable.
QUALIFICATIONS & Experience :
CA/CMA with 3 plus years of experience in Revenue, Accounts receivables, Billing & collections process.
CA Inter or CMA inter with 5 plus years of experience in Revenue, Accounts receivables, Billing & collections process.
Candidates having experience of the international process will be preferred
