Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an NPD Wiring Harness Engineer located in Gurgaon. The NPD Wiring Harness Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of wiring harness systems for automotive applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed engineering designs, working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing wiring harness layouts for efficiency. Additionally, the engineer will oversee the prototyping and testing phases, addressing any issues that arise, and making necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and functionality.
Qualifications
• Experience with wiring harness design and development
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and components
• Proficiency with CAD software for designing wiring harness layouts
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to automotive wiring harnesses
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and quality assurance
