We offer opportunities in various locations throughout Central Australia, including Alice Springs, Finke (Aputula), Hermannsburg/Ntaria, Kings Canyon, Mt Liebig-Amunturrng, Papunya, Willowra-Wirilyatjar, and Yuendumu. Several vacancies are available, either ongoing or fixed for two years.
Responsibilities:
Lead a small multidisciplinary health team in the day-to-day operational and personnel management of a Remote Primary Health Centre
Oversee clinical governance and safe practice in all aspects of service delivery
Evaluate services to ensure cost-effective and culturally appropriate delivery to meet the needs of clients and their families
Requirements:
Minimum four years of broad-based nursing experience, with at least two years of previous clinical experience in a remote setting
Hold current Remote Emergency Qualification, Maternity Emergency Qualification, and Vaccination Certificate
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for the same
