Your passion for early years education, combined with your knowledge of the Froebel pedagogy, will ensure that children are supported in their development, fostering independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality early years education based on the EYFS framework and Froebelian principles, ensuring that every child receives a well-rounded educational experience.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning across all areas, including communication and language, physical development, personal, social, and emotional development, and understanding of the world.
Observe and assess children's progress and development, ensuring that all children’s needs are met, including any additional needs.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Support and guide children to develop independence, resilience, and critical thinking skills in line with the Froebel approach.
Work closely with the wider school community to ensure continuity of care and education.

Skills and Qualities Required:

A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and the desire to learn about the Froebel pedagogy.
Passion for working with young children and providing them with the best start in life.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate creative, child-cantered learning experiences.
Commitment to creating an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
Strong observational and assessment skills, with a focus on children's individual needs and progress.
A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
