Are you passionate about creating culturally responsive mental health care? Darling Downs Health is seeking a dedicated Multicultural Mental Health Coordinator (Senior Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker) to lead transformative initiatives for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. In this vital role, you’ll collaborate with clinicians, CALD communities, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery, empower workforce capability, and make a meaningful difference for individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges.
What Your Day Will Look Like….
As the Multicultural Mental Health Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in fostering culturally responsive mental health care. Your day will include providing expert clinical consultations to support clinicians in delivering culturally appropriate assessments and interventions. You'll build collaborative partnerships with CALD communities, interpreters, and local providers, ensuring integrated and accessible care. Additionally, you'll lead workforce training and mentoring initiatives to enhance cultural responsiveness and oversee quality improvement projects. Through your leadership, you'll shape inclusive practices and champion better outcomes for CALD consumers and their families.
