About the Opportunity
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join and support our team in Appin. In this role, you will assist our leadership team with day-to-day administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of business functions.
As our Administration Assistant you'll;
Be responsible for reception desk duties, including greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner, answering phones and directing calls.
Assist in processing customer orders and invoices in line with company procedures
Upkeep reception and shared office areas to a professional image standard.
Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
Follow receiving, quality and OHSE procedures in accordance with our documented Management System.
Be responsible for inbound and outbound pallet control
Observe confidentiality of matters and information handled at all times.
Adopt a continuous improvement mindset, offering productive feedback and continuous improvement recommendations to the Office Manager from time-to-time and as necessary
Other tasks as directed by the Office Manager or delegate not inconsistent with the scope of the role.
What you'll bring
As our successful candidate you'll bring;
2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and on multiple tasks.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative to suggest new actions to help the team, or to improve some procedures and processes.
Proficient time management, problem solving and organisational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication and customer service.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

You should have an excellent phone manner, be good at picking up new systems and are happy to work in a small office environment. Own transport is essential.
The hours are Monday – Friday from 7.30am to 4.00pm.
Located in the APPIN industrial area this role is an easy drive from CAMPBELLTOWN, ST HELENS PARK, ROSEMEADOW, WILTON, PICTON and surrounding suburbs. We are also an easy 1/2hr drive from WOLLONGONG.
