36 hours per week Term time only + 1 week (40 Weeks)Required as soon as possible Hillbrook is a large, vibrant and happy primary school in the heart of Tooting.We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and confident person to join our friendly Admin team. This position suits someone who has strong organisational and administrative skills, an excellent work ethic and the ability to lead the Admin Team and communicate confidently with a wide range of people.You would need to be a team player who can be flexible, creative and confidential.Your responsibilities would include:• To be proactive in ensuring all school administrative needs are being consistently and effectively; delivered, meeting the needs of the school. Deal with complex reception and visitor matters;• To ensure a high level clerical and administrative support is undertaken; keeping accurate records e.g. word processing, photocopying, printing, display, collection and recording of money, telephone calls etc.;• Manage Extended School Services (Breakfast Club and After School Care) and After School Clubs including monitoring balances;• Working in partnership with parents/carers, staff, governors and other agencies to support children in our school• Being punctual, reliable, effective and consistent in your workProven Clerical/Administrative experience at a senior level and GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths or equivalent are essential as is the ability to communicate and lead effectively on several levels.We can offer• Highly competitive Local Government Pension Scheme• Smart Schools Benefits (which include Lifestyle Savings, Wellness support, saving scheme for everyday expenses, shopping discounts, Cycle2Work etc.An Application Form, Job Description and Person Specification can be downloaded below.Visits to the school are very warmly welcomed.
