VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley is a specialty and emergency animal hospital located in the west San Fernando Valley area of Southern California, just northwest of Los Angeles.
At VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley (VCA VSV), we offer emergency, critical, and urgent care for dogs and cats, as well as internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and surgery services. We work closely with local veterinarians to provide comprehensive, specialty-level veterinary care for pets. Our veterinarians and board-certified specialists are dedicated to providing you and your pet with the same level of skilled, compassionate care they insist on for their pets.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Venipuncture
Catheter placement
Radiology
Anesthesia monitoring
Physical examinations and patient assessment
Chemotherapy Administration
Laboratory work
Pharmacy
Patient recovery
Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have documented previous experience
Current RVT license, VTNE eligible, or transferable credentials
Flexibility to cover potential evenings, weekends and holidays
Customer service skills
Working knowledge of computers
Excellent communications skills
Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
This a Day Shift position
