Seeking dedicated, friendly and enthusiastic GCSE & A-Level MathsTutors to join our amazing team of Super Tutors.
The ideal candidates will have experience working with children, have a flair for teaching, and be passionate about educating and empowering students.
Job Role :
• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students online
• Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and goals
• Assist students in understanding difficult concepts and improving their academic performance
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding student progress
Essential Criteria:
• Be educated to at least degree level
• Have at least 1 year’s teaching experience
• Have an in-depth knowledge of the Northern Ireland curriculum
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Have a natural flair for teaching
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for their subject
• Have strong communication skills to effectively explain complex topics
• Patience and empathy when working with students facing learning challenges
• Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
• Be reliable, trustworthy, caring and friendly
• Have excellent reading and writing skills
• Have a strong command of the English language
Preferred Criteria:
• Hold a teaching qualification
• Have experience in special education
Expectations:
• Tutors will be expected to submit a lesson demo as part of the application process to demonstrate evidence of the essential criteria
• Successful applicants are expected to dedicate at least 1 year to their role
Additional Information:
• This is a self-employed role
• Tutors are to have a UK bank account
• Tutors are to have or apply for an enhanced criminal records check
