Job Description
The Operational Support Officer is a service support and supervision position in The Orange Door. The position works closely with the Hub Manager and The Orange Door staff to assist in the safe and effective delivery of services to Victorians seeking support through The Orange Door. The role will support daily management of The Orange Door, including budget management and the local corporate interface between Family Safety Victoria (FSV) and Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). The Operational Support Officer also supervises a team of Family Safety Victoria Orange Door staff.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Provide direct support to the Hub Manager to deliver the objectives of The Orange Door.
Supervise the Client Support Officers and the Administration Officer, including providing:
performance development and assessment
problem solving and daily support
management of roster for the Hub staff.
Maintain partnerships and interface with DFFH Corporate Support at a local level.
