The Role
Job Description
One of our clients, Fly FLat, is seeking to hire someone with a passion for international travel as a senior concierge manager. Their entire team is remote across four continents and we all love to travel and take advantage of being on a remote team working from around the world. We intend for all team members to share this passion for the coming decades at Fly Flat!
Skills and Qualifications:
• Extremely organized with experience using a product management system like Trello (ideally Trello as that is what we currently use) for their daily life + work tasks
• Doesn't wait around to be told what to do - actively seeks to add value to the business
• Experience observing businesses and creating processes for efficiency
• Ideally past international business travel experience, or at least personal international travel experience
• Past experience with any of the following:
• Optimizing personal miles and points
• Churning credit cards
• Manufactured Spending
• 1+ years of operations experience, ideally in either finance, crypto, or luxury travel
• A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Location: Remote, bonus points if in or can be in Philadelphia or Austin where the COO and CEO live. With the expectation to attend conferences and events in major cities around the world including places like Dubai, New York, and London.
Role Description
As an Operations Managers at FlyFlat, you will play a pivotal role in the strategy and execution of our key initiatives with the goal in mind to transform as many travelers' lifestyles as possible. We are looking for someone motivated who can take the initiative to drive the company's goals to fruition. Your primary mandate will be to guide the way we connect with our high-quality, long-term, repeating customers. You will have the autonomy and support of company leadership to drive those goals forward in whatever way you think is best.
Job Role:
• Evaluating business procedures and technology tools currently being used
• Develop clean cut onboarding process for new concierge hires
• Execute on new priority projects as defined by CEO & COO (examples below)
• Manage affiliate operations and technology to use statements/cash out
• Utilize Notion to uphold organizational standards
• Manage cap table updates and historical data
• Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
• Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
• Lead integration efforts among operations, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes
• Printing / Shipping Needs for Branded Items
• HR Coordination w/ Concierge Managers
Nice to have experience:
• Hidden city ticketing experience
• Hub city/Repositioning flight booking experience
• You have experience with early stage, high growth startups, operating with lean and efficient teams.
• Significant personal international travel experience
• Strong knowledge of credit points and airline mileage programs
