About this Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing activities. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the production area. Your key responsibilities include:
Lead and develop the production team with a focus on talent building and operational excellence
Action weekly production plans to minimize waste and machine downtime
Work with the reliability manager to optimize machine setups and product manufacture
Support maintenance and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance safety, productivity, quality, and reliability
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Proven track record in Lean and Operational Excellence, delivering high-quality products for customers
Experience at a management level in a manufacturing environment that emphasizes continuous improvement
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Able to motivate, lead, and supervise a team
Leadership, influencing, negotiation, change management, conflict resolution, and financial literacy skills
