Operations Manager - Luxury Hotels

Our client, a prestigious luxury hospitality group, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of their flagship hotel property. This critical role demands a leader with a profound understanding of hotel operations, exceptional guest service standards, and a proven ability to drive efficiency and profitability across all departments. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations in areas such as Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Front Office, while maintaining the highest standards of luxury and guest satisfaction. Your duties will include managing departmental budgets, controlling costs, optimizing revenue, and implementing operational strategies to enhance guest experiences. You will lead and motivate a diverse team of department heads and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment focused on service excellence. This involves performance management, training, and development to ensure staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver superior service. Building and maintaining strong relationships with guests, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly and effectively, is paramount. You will collaborate with the General Manager and other senior leaders on strategic planning, implementing new initiatives, and ensuring the hotel's overall success and reputation. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, and managing relationships with key suppliers and vendors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a deep knowledge of hotel management systems and luxury service protocols. Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of all hotel departments (Rooms, F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office). Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service and uphold luxury brand standards. Develop and manage departmental budgets, P&L statements, and cost control measures. Implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Lead, train, and motivate hotel staff and department heads to achieve service excellence. Manage guest relations, resolving complaints and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and business development. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and security regulations. Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships for operational needs. Monitor industry trends and implement best practices in hotel operations. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to staff. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations management, with a focus on luxury properties. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple hotel departments. In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and Front Office. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and relevant operational systems. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
