Job Opportunity with Wipro for Oracle Database Admin with experience range is 7+ years (We are preferring quick joiners, will welcome candidates serving notice period and in between jobs) :
Job Description :
Summary of the requirement :
• Strong Oracle DBA (Oracle 11.x & above) with 7+ years of production support experience
• Must have hands on experience in RMAN, RAC, Golden gate & Data Guard
• Good knowledge of ASM & Performance Tuning
• Good communication
• Ready to work in 247 support
Oracle :
• Provisioning Oracle Server Database Systems based on the procedure
• Configuring tooling, OS, Database parameter after build
• Troubleshooting any technical issues independently
• Communicating delivery schedules with the stakeholders and escalating timely whenever risk found
• Arranging the Change Management Process by following bank policy
• Non-office hours work maybe required based on the Change policy or project requirement
• Making sure all the inventory are updated correctly
• Making sure all the deliverable meet quality standards
• Coordination with Operating System, Middleware and other teams to ensure build setup is completed
• Awareness of monitoring and scheduling tools and Change management process (ITIL)
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to describe complex technical scenarios in a concise manner, both verbally and written, and articulating the content depending on the audience
• Provide support through 14 x 5, 24x7 window.
• Knowledge of Oracle & RDBMS concepts
• Strong hands-on experience as Oracle DBA on Oracle 11.x & above. Experience on Oracle 12c preferred.
• Good working knowledge in Windows, Linux and Unix environment
• Strong hands-on build DB, configuration, upgrade, Migration and patching
• Good working knowledge of Unix platforms Strong on Backup / Recovery RMAN and RAC
• Knowledge of ASM, Data guard desirable good knowledge of Performance Tuning
