Job Description
• 5+ Years of Oracle DBA with strong system admin experience on Unix/Linux/Windows.
• Experience in a 24X7 production environment.
• Proven Experience with Database Administration for Oracle 11g/12c/18c on various platforms.
• Experience with features such as Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Active Data Guard , Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Extensive experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
• Ensure the integrity of database backup and restore procedures and maintain related documentation.
• Develop and maintain standards, procedures and methodologies for effective operation, access, control backup recovery of all database activities.
• Refresh development, test and QA databases as necessary
• Work effectively as part of the Oracle Support team.
• Perform Critical production database support.
• Build & Support Oracle RDBMS environments.
• Plan and Perform production implementations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with DBA and application teams.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Experience in Shell scripting.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years Oracle Database administration experience in production environments
• Strong knowledge of the installation, security, administration, upgrades, applying patches, monitoring and tuning of Oracle Databases.
• Orientation toward detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
