Job Description
We are a private Paediatric practice looking for an OT (preferably experienced in Paediatrics). To begin with, we have a part-time contractor role on offer. However, she/he will be moving to a full-time contractor role as you increase your caseloads. We are looking for someone with
- A full license and a car. We are a mobile practice therefore you will be travelling to the client's school/home for the sessions. We travel within the Auckland region.
- Preferably have experience in Paediatrics. For example, have knowledge in Sensory Integration, motor skills, visual processing, learning needs, helping them get the skills they need for their daily activities such as toileting, dressing, eating etc. and other areas related to Paediatrics
-Autonomy because you will be on your own (most of the time) with the client to establish/address their goals.
-Organised and punctual.
-Compassionate and Kind. Be able to establish relationships with children.
-Be able to communicate effectively with children as well as their parents and the school/any organisations involved.
-Be able to write sufficient notes after every lesson.
-Be registered through the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand (OTBNZ)

Pay: $25,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
