Vibe Recruit's client is looking to appoint a Panel Wirer to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.

The role involves the assembly and wiring of control panels to precise specifications ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.

Salary circa £25K depending on experience
Working hours: Mon-Thurs 7.45am-4.30pm, Fri 7.45am-1pm

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire control panels according to engineering drawings and schematics.
Perform continuity checks, insulation tests, and other required tests to ensure quality and functionality
Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
Troubleshoot and rectify wiring issues as they arise
Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret complex designs and implement modifications when necessary.
Adhere to all quality control standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven Experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience in panel wiring or a similar role within the electrical manufacturing sector.
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and understanding electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Testing and Compliance. Knowledge of electrical testing procedures and standards (e.g., BS7671).
Attention to Detail. High level of precision and focus to ensure all wiring is executed correctly.
Problem Solving. Ability to diagnose and solve wiring problems efficiently.
Teamwork. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Candidates will be required to undertake a practical wiring test during the interview to demonstrate their skills.

Must be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20kg.
