The Parks Division is currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated individual who is a flexible team player to backfill for the position of Park Administrative Supervisor for Moose Mountain Provincial Park within the Park Division. This will be a term position for the 2026 summer season with potential future opportunity.
Reporting to the Park Manager, this position is an integral member of the Park Management team and is responsible for:
carrying out all aspects of administrative duties within the provincial park, including operation of the park office;
support and guidance to management and park staff including coordination and execution of financial and procurement processes;
supervision of the administration and customer service staff including staffing;
scheduling, prioritizing work, work assignments and performance evaluation;
analyzing, interpreting and resolving a wide variety of inquiries from internal and external clients; and
ensuring adherence to applicable Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport (PCS), Ministry of Environment (MOE), Financial Administrative Manual (FAM) and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate is expected to:
be an experienced supervisor with ability to manage and delegate responsibilities to staff in a professional manner;
have knowledge of a various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, automated reservation systems, and be familiar with online financial and asset management systems;
have knowledge of office and administration procedures and protocols, office equipment, handling of cash and basic accounting principles; and
hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License;
be willing to travel on an occasional basis; and
be available to work occasional weekends, evenings or statutory holidays.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required for this position is obtained through the completion of an office diploma program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
