Type: Part-time 0.38, permanent (Wednesday and Thursday working days)

Your Role:
As a Parks Operator, you’ll actively assist with the establishment and maintenance of day-to-day horticultural, landscaping and turf management while operating under the general direction of the Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a wide range of horticultural equipment and machinery;
Ensure all machinery (plant) and hand tools are assigned and maintained in a clean, workable and safe condition;
Assist with the preparation and planting of garden beds and landscapes as required; and
Mowing, brush-cutting and edging of parks, reserves and open spaces as required.

Eligibility
To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:
A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa);
Fitness for work via a pre-employment medical;
A current ‘C’ class Australian drivers licence; and
A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
