We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our public practice team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tax returns and financial statements for small businesses. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in relevant software applications.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
Utilize QuickBooks and caseware for efficient financial management.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Skills
Experience with QuickBooks and PeopleSoft software applications.
Excellent account reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
