Overview
Lithgow Perkins are looking for a part time bookkeeper to fill a flexible hours role. We are a small independent firm of accountants located in the centre of Harrogate with a friendly, family feel and a close knit team of around 20 employees. We have a strong reputation in the local area for providing excellent customer service and we value our close relations with clients that allow us to work with them and understand their businesses.
As part of a small dedicated bookkeeping team you would be working closely with a variety of different businesses and gaining an insight into how they operate, meaning that every day is different.
Initially, the role will be office based, but once you have demonstrated the experience and knowledge to work independently, home working is possible to allow greater flexibility.
Basic Requirements
· Previous experience in bookkeeping, but training will also be provided
· Basic knowledge of VAT
· Experience using Xero accounting software
· Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Hours of Work
· Part time 18 – 24 hours flexible start and finish times
· 25 days standard holiday, plus bank holidays, pro rated
