About the role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper with hands-on property management experience to keep our financials tight and organized. This is an in-person role for someone who prefers consistency and ownership over their work.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping (AP/AR, reconciliations)
Maintain tenant ledgers and rent roll accuracy
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Track property expenses and budgets
Prepare monthly financial reports
Support year-end prep with accountant
Requirements:
2+ years bookkeeping experience
Direct property management accounting experience (required)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Buildium, AppFolio, or similar
Strong attention to detail and accountability
Able to work independently on-site
Nice to have:
Experience managing books for multiple properties/units
Familiarity with Canadian accounting practices
