Management Accountant

We are offering an opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join Georgiou. This role is based in Perth and reporting to the Finance Manager - Western Region the role sits within a high performing finance team having a great team culture.
What we are seeking:
At least 5+ years' experience as a finance professional
Background is construction or project accounting is desirable
CPA, CA or CIMA highly regarded
Experience using ERP systems with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent understanding of financial and management accounting skills
Ability to be a lateral thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and flexibility of approach
Can build strong networks and interact with all levels of management and across a range of functions
Be able to demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills and high personal motivation
Strong Work Ethic - Timely, meet targets and deadlines
What to expect in this role:
Partner with the project, operations and commercial teams to assist with financial management responsibilities including project set-up, reporting and delivery of monthly financial results
Prepare and lodge monthly alliance cost reimbursement claims
Conduct standard cost payroll project charge reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
Perform exception analysis reporting to identify variances and areas for improvement
Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and monthly reforecast across the business
Undertake overhead analysis, reporting and review to drive cost efficiency
Manage project cash flow and provide insights into working capital requirements
Act as a point of contact for project and business unit teams for queries, issues or training requirements relating to financial systems, processes and reporting
Complete month-end processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Support the Tendering team by providing accurate reporting of costs to date, remaining commitments, and forecast expenditure, with consideration given to tender cost recoveries
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required
