We are now seeking a skilled Management Accountant to support our continued growth and success.

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting financial decision-making, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights that drive business performance. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious professional with at least 1-3 year of experience in management accounting.

Key Duties

Assisting in the development and implementation of budgetary and accounting policies
Preparing and presenting financial statements to management, directors, and stakeholders
Conducting financial investigations and audits into costs, income, and expenditure
Analysing financial performance, business trends, and variances to support deision-making
Maintaining internal control systems and computerised accounting frameworks
Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections for management review
Advising on financial risks, business costs, and opportunities for efficiency improvement
Monitoring and reporting on capital expenditure and investment project performance
Ensuring compliance with taxation, audit, and statutory reporting obligations
Providing management with financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
Recommending improvements to accounting systems, policies, and procedures
Supporting the Finance Manager and leadership team with strategic planning and ad-hoc analysis
Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 1-3 year of experience in management accounting or a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Full Australian work rights are essential
