Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Compensation: $35.00–$55.00/hour
A growing construction-focused organization is seeking an HR Generalist to support a collaborative, hands-on leadership team. This is a broad, high-impact role with visibility across the business and the opportunity to help bring structure and consistency to HR processes. The position starts part-time, with potential to expand into a full-time role based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership, advising on employee relations, policies, and best practices
• Oversee full-cycle HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement
• Manage benefits administration, open enrollment, leave of absence processes, and workers’ compensation
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee records in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Support compensation planning and ensure alignment with internal structure and market data
• Coordinate and support training and development initiatives, including onboarding programs
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, communication, and overall team alignment
• Conduct employee relations investigations and provide guidance on performance and disciplinary matters
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong HR generalist background with hands-on experience across multiple functional areas
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and follow-through
• Ability to build trust and effectively partner with leadership and tenured team members
• Strong communication skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Comfortable working independently in a role with a high level of ownership
• Experience in construction or a related industry is a plus
