Responsibilities
With customer service being at the forefront of this role, the Patient Access Representative collects information for registration of new and incoming patients
We work Monday-Friday, no weekends!
Greet all patients and visitors; guide them to appropriate areas as needed
Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update patient profile
Collect payment and/or assist patient with minor billing concerns
Scan pertinent information into EMR system (HIPAA compliance, authorizations, medical records, etc.)
Respond to non-medical patient emails and phone calls
Demonstrate and embody the Womens Care mission and core values
Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines
Other duties as assigned

With 100+ locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country, Womens Care provides comprehensive patient care in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility.
The Patient Access Representative is the first face our patients see as the enter our clinics. With customer service being at the forefront of this role, the Patient Access Representative collects information for registration of new and incoming patients. This makes it a very engaging role on our team. We work Monday-Friday, no weekends!
• Greet all patients and visitors; guide them to appropriate areas as needed.
• Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update patient profile.
• Collect payment and/or assist patient with minor billing concerns.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferably oneyear of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting, OBGYN a plus.
• General knowledge of medical terminology is ideal.
• Preferred experience working with an electronic medical records system, eCW a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and dynamic atmosphere.
