Job Description
As a Payroll Officer you are responsible for the consultants payroll. You will work closely with the Finance and HR at the Head Office team to support the overall business and organization goals. To be successful in this role, you should have a flair for numbers and be able to handle sensitive information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring that consultant information details are kept up to date (starting dates, end dates, bank details, leave applications, etc.)
• Collection of timesheets for all consultants and follow ups whenever necessary
• Review and analyzing the monthly time sheets in all consultants for all entities of Duncan & Ross.
• Calculating employee benefits and deductions applicable in the payroll.
• Tracking and monitoring overtime of employees.
• Updating in the system for all overtimes, undertimes, earnings and deductions
• Generation of processing the necessary approval to Management for the Payroll
• Payroll Invoices requests and collections for salaries paid through different local partners
• Managing all payroll transactions and ensuring they are processed efficiently.
• Preparing payroll reports in different countries with different currencies.
• Responding to employee enquiries about compensation, and deductions or any payroll discrepancies.
• Preparation of the Payroll Overview Yearly Report.
• Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the similar role.
• Excellent English verbal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors.
• Excellent mathematics and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to consistently meet deadlines and to work well under pressure
• The ability to handle consultants queries calmly.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and working knowledge of accounting software
• Familiarity with accounting software and procedures.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to prepare and present financial reports.
• Familiarity with the Wage Protection Program in the GCC region is an advantage.

EDUCATION & TRAINING: Graduate of any business-related course, with significant accounting background.
