Based at Mannum
Council is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and suitably experienced Payroll Officer who will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Council’s payroll function.

The position is responsible to the Director Corporate & Financial Services and is classified as General Officers Level 3-1, which is commensurate with a current hourly rate of $42.+2.
Council will be transitioning to a new payroll system over coming months which will improve the efficiencies of payroll processing. On the expiration of the initial fixed term a review will be undertaken to determine the level of resourcing required to process payroll function moving forward.
Previous Local Government experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
