About the opportunity
This newly created role, based across our Noble Park and Melbourne CBD offices, will handle all aspects of end-to-end payroll across a group of companies with diverse employment types. The role will provide regular reporting and be the first line response to payroll queries from employees and managers. The Payroll Officer reports into the Payroll Manager and will have the opportunity to support a range of payroll projects and improvement initiatives as part of the People & Culture team.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing, responding to queries and ensuring compliance.
Cyclical payroll activities.
Supporting payroll systems, reporting and employee lifecycle activities.
Supporting payroll projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Practical understanding of payroll, compliance and awards.
Excellent time management, attention to detail and critical thinking.
Team player who enjoys collaborating as well as working autonomously.
Customer focus, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Other Requirements
Successful appointment to this position will require a police check and right to work check. The candidate must also have working rights in Australia.
