Are you an experienced cybersecurity professional with a passion for leading cutting-edge security assessments? We are seeking a skilled Penetration Testing Team Lead to take charge of on-site security evaluations within secure environments. This role is home-based, with travel required across the UK.
This company is looking for experienced Pen Tester who they can help train up to CHECK certified status.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct a variety of advanced penetration tests, specializing in network infrastructure.
• Lead on-site security assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Deliver technical reports and presentations, translating complex risks for both technical and executive-level audiences.
• Provide expert consultancy, offering actionable recommendations to enhance client security postures.
• Travel to UK government sites, approximately 1 or 2 weeks a month depending on business capacity.
• Collaborate with peers and clients, fostering strong working relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
• Support red team operations and contribute to the development of new cybersecurity service lines.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Strong background in Penetration Testing.
• Interested in being trained up to CHECK level
• UK Government SC clearance (or eligibility) is essential.
• Strong understanding of technical security testing, with hands-on experience in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• Proficient in managing projects, scoping tests, and mentoring junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
Desirable Requirements:
• Holds either CTL or CTM status.
• Professional certifications like CISSP, CCT INF, or OSCP are highly desirable.
• Full UK driving license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
