About the role

As the initial point of contact for People & Culture matters within a close-knit shared services team, this role is essential in providing high quality and timely administrative services to the organisation.

On a daily basis you will:

Accurately enter data into the HR systems, maintaining registers and databases
Conduct employment and licence checks
Monitor centralised mailboxes and attend to Helpdesk requests
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as team members, employees and managers
Draft employment letters and contracts
Communicate with internal teams in a timely manner
Minute take committee meetings
About You

Your strong customer service and communication skills will enable you to work with a diverse stakeholder group. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines brings success in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team juggling multiple priorities. You'll require intermediate skills in Word and Excel and be comfortable learning to use Council's HR software applications.

Qualifications:

Certificate IV in HR, Business or an Administration discipline and/or experience in a comparable role.
Local government experience is desired.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $80,284 to $88,414 plus 11.5% superannuation.
