What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in establishing and implementing workforce strategies and change initiatives that contribute towards organisational capability including providing strategic human resource, workforce and capability development advice and support to deliver practical people and business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience to contribute to human resource and employee relations capability across the workforce through the design, development and delivery (online and face to face) of procedures, guidelines and resources.
Demonstrated experience in analysing employee data to address individual and broader workforce issues, define risks and present evidence-based solutions to the Manager People and Safety to support decision making processes.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a team, key internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to support human resource and workforce initiatives and meet desired outcomes.
Proven ability to research, review and prepare reports, submissions and other correspondence in accordance with Council requirements.
Demonstrated experience in managing human resource and workforce projects and working groups to ensure outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes to meet departmental and business needs.
