Job description, work day and responsibilities
Reporting to the HR Shared Services Lead, you will be the first point of contact for general HR enquiries, managing the SSI employee life cycle (hire to retire) process, initiate common HR transactions in the SSI core HR system, and other employee-related systems and ensuring data integrity.
You will partner with other internal HR functions such as P&C BP, Talent, L&D and Payroll to ensure accurate, prompt, and consistent resolution or redistribution by following established channels and exceeding expectations of a positive employee experience. As part of the of the HR Shared Services team, you will support the ongoing optimisation of the SSI HR system and processes of work and drive continuous improvement and a commitment to always enhance customer service.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in the ability to provide advice on Awards, policies and procedures to staff and management.
Excellent customer service skills
HR system administration with high level of attention to detail
Competence with Microsoft Office Products particularly in Excel intermediate/advanced
Be highly organised with the able to prioritise work
Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline will be highly regarded
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce (or other advanced HR systems) will be highly regarded
