About the role

As we continue our phase of growth and change at pace in our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a People Business Partner to join our collaborative and engaged team. As an experienced and authentic Business Partner, you will support the business in generalist People responsibilities but also enjoy the opportunity to continue your career growth by supporting the development and implementation of wider business strategies. With no two days the same, you will play an integral part of the People Team by supporting our people leaders throughout the full employment lifecycle ensuring our employee value proposition continues to flourish and your partners and stakeholders are well equipped to deal with people matters.

Based in our Support Office in Newmarket and onsite at Villages, you will be at the heart of where people come first. You will thrive in a varied role, with great exposure to multiple business practices and exciting People and Culture Projects.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Coach and partner with the business across our Villages and Support Office from Village Managers to Executive Members
Contribute strategic input across the full spectrum of people projects and initiatives including working with business leaders to identify, prioritise and build organisational capability through enhanced behaviours, structures and processes
Support leaders with the full range of HR generalist activity including workforce planning, employment relations, change management, remuneration and organisational design, ensuring coaching and continued learning is delivered to stakeholders,
Proactively anticipate and design solutions to solve complex people challenges both at a local level and across the organisation
About you

As a mature-minded and experienced business partner, you will have the confidence to bring your authentic self to work. With a strong commercial focus, business acumen and a generalist background, you are comfortable in guiding and supporting leaders in people practices and through challenging the status quo to get better outcomes.

Your experience coupled with your strong sense of self supports your confident decision making and you can adapt to daily needs, understanding critical priorities and deliver efficiently. You'll be excited by working with a strong People team and will take a consultative and collaborative approach to problem solving and building new solutions, whilst also taking accountability for delivery. You thrive on change and improvement, and are quietly impressive, highly motivated with a solid ambition to develop your career.
