Learning & Development Advisor
£30,313 FTE (£12,125 pro rata)
15 hours per week
worked over 2 days (9-5) or 3 days (9.30-2.30)
We have a new opportunity for somebody to join our People Services Team to support and lead on our internal L&D activity.
Based in Dorchester and working within the People Services Team, this role is responsible for the continued delivery and evaluation of our internal learning and development programme, which includes Apprenticeships. Ensuring that our offering aligns with Weldmar's Values, strategic aims and objectives whilst meeting the needs of staff and volunteers. You’ll be accountable for working with Leaders to ensure that all statutory and mandatory training is completed, providing relevant MI, insights and reporting as required.
You will work closely with our People Services Business Partners and Administrators to identify and address any skills or knowledge gaps within the organisation. You’ll also be responsible for our relationship with our external training providers, e-learning partners and our Weldmar Learning Hub.
About Weldmar Hospicecare: Rated Outstanding by the CQC, Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist care to adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, and support to their loved ones. This care is given in the comfort of patients’ own homes, in the community, and at our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester. All care is provided free of charge and mainly funded by the continued support of our local community, via fundraising initiatives and events, our retail chain, and gifts left in wills, enabling us to raise the £27,500 we need every day to keep our services going.
