About the job:
Pepper Content (www. peppercontent.cio) is building a global content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories.
Over the past 5 years, over 150,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% of talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and majority of the startup ecosystem.
Pepper's Global Marketing Campaign's team charter is to support high-touch ARR goals by fueling Global Field and Demand Gen teams with powerful content-centered programs.
As a Global Events Manager, you will work within the Global Campaigns team partnering cross-functionally with Field Marketing to help bring global events to the next level.
You should be a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record in planning, managing, and overseeing a wide range of impactful global experiences such as 3rd party conferences and trade shows as well as owned events such as roadshows, workshops, webinars, and more.
We're looking for someone enthusiastic, comfortable with uncertainty, flexible, great with people, understands our technical vision, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.
What You'll Do:
- Help unify the Revenue Marketing events strategy across owned and third party events with a focus on (but not limited to) roadshows, Miro days, conferences and virtual events
- Build a holistic event strategy including standard evaluation criteria for 3rd party events/conferences
- Project manage all aspects of event programs such as budgeting, vendor sourcing, travel arrangements, equipment rental, etc.
- Create and monitor event timelines and milestones, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule
- Maintaining a detailed database of all the interactions with the leads and providing constant feedback on the quality of the leads to the respective associates.
- Carrying weekly and monthly sales qualified leads targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution, including Field Marketing, Brand, Content & GTM
- Deliver creative and innovative events designed to scale into multiple markets and engage attendees while maintaining a unified global experience
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of events, such as attendance rates, engagement levels, and ROI
What You'll Need:
- 5-7 years of event marketing, field marketing, and/or agency experience, preferably in a global context (SaaS/Tech marketing background a plus)
- Creative thinker with the ability to devise unique event concepts and experiences
- Detail oriented with strong project management and written communication skills
- Exceptional cross-functional collaborator experienced in working across geos and time zones
- Proficiency in budget management, negotiation, and vendor relations
- Results oriented with ability to show Return on Investment (ROI)
