Join us as a Performance, Insights & Efficiency Analyst
Joining us in RBS International Finance, we’ll look to you to provide support and guidance to improve financial returns and operational efficiency
You'll be providing financial insight and decision support through providing commercial and financial MI, ensuring compliance with the bank's governance framework

What you'll do
As a Performance, Insights & Efficiency Analyst, you’ll be helping to provide timely, reliable and insightful financial support that will drive senior and executive financial and commercial discussion. You’ll be working with business intelligence teams to provide information to all areas of RBS International Finance, including an appropriate level of analytics and interpretation to enable informed decision making, as well as commercial insight to provide a detailed understanding of financial performance.
As well as this, you'll be delivering reporting such as financials, hierarchy, budgeting and forecasting and providing commentary explaining data movements and the outlook for future periods.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
Reviewing and interpreting financial results, identifying any patterns and trends in the communication of key messages and insights
Reviewing and challenging divisional business results to provide insightful, consolidated communications and presentations for executive management
Liaising with divisional business partner and MI teams, proactively identifying financial performance issues and escalating to senior management where necessary
Providing financial analysis and support to executive management, to facilitate the review of business performance and identify strategic action plans to address performance gaps
Ensuring consistency in design, approach and principles to reporting and optimisation of the existing reporting processes, and creating and maintaining process documentation
Developing and maintaining professional effective relationships with customers, stakeholders and employees at all levels
