Are you an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced personal injury paralegal? You might be an excellent fit for our busy personal injury law firm. You will draft litigation documents and efile them, maintain case files and other critical materials organized and easily accessible. We need someone with experience closing out a personal injury file, including lien negotiations and closing statements. If you want to further your paralegal career, we want to hear from you.
Compensation:

$62,500 + quarterly bonus
Responsibilities:
• Support family settlement conferences and mediation to avoid lawsuits
• Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by researching legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, submitting motions, and aiding with client meetings
• Maintain our case filing systems and other administrative activities
• Prepare a factual response to discovery requests by ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records
• Create legal pleadings, communications, and documents such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits with the assistance of a lawyer

Qualifications:
• Talented verbal communicator and writer
• Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills
• 3-5 years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer required, preferably in a personal injury law firm
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired
• Completion of a NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants) certification program strongly preferred
