Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient facilities. Your contributions will be vital in helping patients recover and improve their physical abilities through therapeutic exercises and treatments.

Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists with patient intake and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.
Support patients during exercises and rehabilitation activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and the importance of following their rehabilitation plans.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care, including those in acute care, sub-acute care, and outpatient settings.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance patient service and care.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:

Experience in patient service and direct patient care within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
Previous hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care or post-acute care environments.
Familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care is a plus.
