The Position:
R.S. Foundation Systems is currently looking for experienced Driller’s to join the team, working with large diameter drill rigs such as Bauer, Liebherr, and Soil Mec Drill Rigs to name a few. The Driller is responsible for operating a Piling Rig for the purpose of Caissons, and Secant wall drilling.

Key Responsibilities:
· Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner always
· Ensure assigned equipment is maintained in good working condition
· Accurately log the depth of Caissons, Secant wall drilling and ensure drilling functions are correctly executed
· Responsible for the safe operation of rotary drill rigs such as Bauer BG 18/ BG 28/ BG 30/ BG 40 or similar rigs to install bore cast in place and CFA Piles
· Accurately log the depth of Caissons, Secant wall drilling and ensure drilling functions are correctly executed
· Daily maintenance of Piling Rigs and working platforms in order to avoid damages and defects
· Select and use correct attachments for specific piles for drilling to achieve required depth including submitting daily piling records
· Observe soils being excavated from the pile bore and install/remove temporary or permanent casing into the ground
· Working on your own but also with frontman according to the required Health, Safety and Quality standards on site and set by RSFS
· Experience in operating construction machines and equipment
· Knowledge in hydraulics an/or mechanics is an asset
· Completed Operator license is also an asset
· Ability to work independently and in teams
· Ability to communicate fluently in English
· Train, lead, observe, coach and mentor Driller Assistants, provide performance feedback to Drilling Supervisors and provide support to other Drillers on the crew as required
What does it take to work for R.S. Foundation Systems?
1+ year of experience operating a Piling Rig
Class 5 Driver’s License required
Safety tickets and certifications preferred; CSTS, WHIMIS, First Aid and Ground Disturbance
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work outdoors in extreme cold and hot environments
Flexible, motivated and able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment and respond to change quickly
Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently and in a team environment as a contributing team player.
