The Shire of Gingin is looking for a suitably qualified Planning Officer to join our Planning & Development team.

This role is multifaceted and varied, involving important tasks related to land use planning, policy development, stakeholder relations, and assessment of a wide range of subdivision and development proposals.

If you are keen for a new challenge using your skills to support our growing region, and meet the essential requirements listed in the job description, we welcome your application.

We would also welcome applications from motivated and ambitious university graduates or final year planning students who are passionate about a career in town planning.

Additionally, we can offer the right applicants the option to work full-time or part-time.

What We Can Offer You
Salary range for Planning Officer: $77,745 - $87,707 (pro-rata if part-time) plus superannuation up to 15%.
Option to work 9-day fortnight (for full-time).
22 days paid annual leave with 17.5% leave loading (pro-rata for part-time)
