Position Title: Plant Head
Department: Senior Management Team
Location: Kala Amb, Himachal Pradesh
Education & Experience Requirement : Level of Education BE / B.Tech Mechanical (from reputed institute) Experience 12+ Years (Min 5 years of greenfield project)
Job Objective : Responsible for readiness of new manufacturing facilities / Processes for existing and new products within quality, cost and time line. Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of product quality and delivery targets. Deploying various methodologies to analysis processes and recommending modification to minimize escalations, reduce rejections, Improve operating efficiency, control variability, cost and reduce cycle time. Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders, regarding technical support for activities, striving for best in class products, managing teams and projects across the plant Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitated, direct and drive implementation of Lean Business strategy and drive Continuous Improvement across all manufacturing related area of business.
Desired Candidate :
Broad experience of working in fabrication or special purpose machinery manufacturing environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels. Technical mindset, confident working with others to inspire a high-quality standard and timely deliverables. Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes and/or automation is highly desirable. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers. Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development. Ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultures. Candidate from greenfield project would be added advantages
