We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant HR Manager to oversee Human Resources functions at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Industrial Relations (IR), compliance, administration, and worker management to foster a productive and harmonious work environment.
Key Responsibilities:1. Industrial Relations (IR):
• Manage and maintain harmonious relations between management and workers/unions.
• Handle collective bargaining, grievance redressal, and dispute resolution.
• Negotiate and implement wage settlements, agreements, and policies in alignment with labor laws.
• Address employee issues related to discipline, misconduct, and performance in compliance with legal frameworks.
2. Compliance and Labor Laws:
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, including labor laws, factory acts, and other regulations.
• Manage filings and inspections related to PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and other statutory obligations.
• Liaise with government authorities for license renewals, audits, and inspections.
3. Workforce Management:
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for blue-collar and shop-floor workers.
• Implement strategies to enhance worker engagement, motivation, and productivity.
• Address and resolve workforce grievances promptly and effectively.
4. Administrative Functions:
• Supervise and streamline administrative operations at the plant, including security, housekeeping, and facilities management.
• Manage vendor relationships for plant services and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, payroll, and workforce analytics.
5. HR Policies and Strategy:
• Implement and communicate HR policies, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and local needs.
• Monitor and evaluate HR initiatives' effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Provide HR support to departmental heads to meet operational goals.
• Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 12-15 years in HR roles, with at least 5 years in IR and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough understanding of labor laws, industrial relations, and compliance.
• Familiarity with workforce dynamics in manufacturing setups.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and compliance tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
