THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a safety and quality conscious Plant Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO opportunities available. Flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
In this role, you will:
Service and maintain equipment and vehicles
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Conduct plant and equipment inspections
Attend to breakdowns
Work on Hydraulic systems
Perform basic automotive electrical works
ABOUT YOU
Highly established attention to Safe work practices
Australian-recognised Trade Certificate with post-trade experience
Experience with Light and Heavy plant and equipment, hydraulic systems, and basic automotive electrical skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Ability to document and maintain traceability on all works undertaken
Experience working with and maintaining the following types of equipment;
Diesel EWP’S up to 135ft,
Telehandlers,
Buses,
Tilt Tray’s,
Excavator,
Skid Steer Loader,
Scissor Lifts,
Light Trucks,
Light Vehicles
Generators up to 132KVA
The successful candidate will have:
Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Mechanical
High-risk work License (with WP class) (desirable)
Current Unrestricted Driver’s License
White / Blue Construction Card
